It has been a fiery year for “One Blood Hidden Image”. With the street release of their ultimate collection album edition well received around Australia, O.B.H.I. Has made an astonishing impact in this journey of their career. As an independent Torres Strait based indigenous hip hop group, O.B.H.I. Has exceeded as young entrepreneurs, expanding their interest in music to clothing and have made ripples on the way.
Since the foundation formation in 2005, One Blood Hidden Image has excelled in their live performance presence around Australia and New Zealand. With highlight performances at the “Big sound Showcase 2006 ” in Brisbane, which was the first live performance the group did out side of the Torres Strait region, to the “styling up festival” in Inala, the biggest indigenous Hip Hop & R&B festival in Queensland.
In 2007 O.B.H.I. Performed in events such as “The Solid Territory” Event in both Sydney and Adelaide. The event was a concert featuring indigenous bands from all around Australia and New Zealand who united in solidarity to create awareness on the intervention in the Northern Territory. Later a compilation album was created to landmark the cause and support communities effected by the intervention, in 2008 Maupower, one of the founding members of O.B.H.I. Performed at the compilation albums release in Auckland.
Also in that year two tracks “Round 2” and “My Blood My People” were selected to feature on the Gadigal records Label release compilation “Making waves”, following that “My Blood My People” a solo track produce by Maupower was then aired in the Qantas international flight radio club.
2009 has proved to be a promising year for O.B.H.I. And its members, starting out the year at the “Survival day” concert in Adelaide. The event was televised live by NITV, covering four states and was broad casted nationally with an astounding line up which included the likes of Zenneth, Dizzy Doolan to name a few.

During this year Maupower attended an awareness rally in Sydney on the intervention crisis and performed a live show at the “Block” in Redfern Sydney. He also filmed his first Solo film clip “Rogue Souljah” for his up coming Album release. Release date TBA.
But the highlights of 2009 has definitely had to be performing at the “Dreaming festival” Woodford, an event that attracts 15000 + people and runs as a 4 day event. This event was the biggest performance O.B.H.I. Has done yet, at the crowd reception was mind blowing.
Another highlight of this year was Maupowers' nomination for the Deadly Awards 2009 in outstanding achievement in R&B and Hip Hop. Such an achievement can only conclude that “One Blood Hidden Image” and “Maupower” has made an impressionable impact in the industry, and is being recognized and an emerging force in indigenous hip hop.
